Message

The word of God is not just a collection of stories or moral teachings; it is a living and active force. It has the power to create, to transform, to heal, and to deliver. In the beginning, God used His word to bring the universe into existence, and that same word is still sustaining all things today.

When you hide the word of God in your heart, it becomes a shield against the attacks of the enemy. It serves as a compass that gives you direction when you are confused. The Psalmist said, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Without the word, you are walking in spiritual darkness.

The word of God also has the power to cleanse. As you read and meditate on the scriptures, the Holy Spirit uses the word to wash away worldly thoughts and sinful desires. It renews your mind and aligns your thinking with the purposes of God. A person who is full of the word is a person who is full of faith.

To experience the power of the word, you must do more than just read it; you must believe it and act upon it. The word only works for those who mix it with faith. When you stand on the promises of God, even when the circumstances look contrary, you are setting the stage for a miracle. God is bound by His word, and He will never let it return to Him void.

Beloved, make the word of God your daily bread. Don't let a day pass without feeding your spirit from the scriptures. As you prioritize the word, you will see it manifesting in your life in the form of breakthroughs, peace, and spiritual growth.

RCCG Hymn

All to Jesus I surrender

  1. All to Jesus I surrender,
    All to Him I freely give;
    I will ever love and trust Him,
    In His presence daily live.

  2. I surrender all,
    I surrender all;
    All to Thee, my blessed Saviour,
    I surrender all.

  3. All to Jesus I surrender.
    Humbly at His feet I bow;
    Woridly pleasures all forsaken.
    Take me, Jesus, take me now.
  4. All to Jesus I surrender.
    Lord, I give myself to Thee;
    Fill me with Thy love and power.
    Let Thy blessing fall on me.
  5. All to Jesus I surrender.
    Now I feel the sacred flame;
    O the joy of full salvadon!
    Glory, glory to His name!
