Message
Wisdom is the principal thing, and in all our getting, we are encouraged to get understanding. Walking in wisdom means making decisions that are aligned with the word of God. It is the ability to apply the knowledge of God to everyday situations in a way that brings success and honor.
There are two types of wisdom: the wisdom of the world and the wisdom from above. The wisdom of the world is often based on selfishness, competition, and pride. However, the wisdom from above is pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of good fruits. To walk in this kind of wisdom, you must first have the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom.
Wisdom helps you to manage your time, your relationships, and your resources effectively. It teaches you when to speak and when to be silent. It helps you to avoid the pitfalls that the enemy has set on your path. A person who walks in wisdom will always be steps ahead of his or her adversaries.
God is the source of all true wisdom. If you lack wisdom in any area of your life, James 1:5 says you should ask God, who gives liberally to all men. He is willing to guide you and show you the right way to go. Don't rely on your own intelligence or the advice of ungodly people. Seek the mind of God through His word.
Beloved, as you navigate through this new year, make wisdom your companion. Let the word of God be the light that guides your feet. When you walk in wisdom, you walk in safety and you enjoy the favor of God and man.
